Every quarter we feature a Precision client who has accomplished something great in his or her workout program. Whether it’s achieving a fitness goal (or two), overcoming obstacles like injuries and illness, or just pure progress and commitment, we love seeing our clients succeed! We also love sharing these stories and experiences in order to inspire other clients to keep up the hard work.
This month we are recognizing Adrian C. for his steadfast commitment toward reaching his fitness goals. Pepe, his personal trainer, had this to say: “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Adrian since June. Adrian started out with a few injuries that we needed to work around but his dedication and positive attitude absolutely paid off. There have been steady improvements to the trouble spots alongside impressive changes to both his physique and lifestyle.
We had one stellar month where his fitness test revealed that he gained 6lbs of muscle. Amazing results like those are a true testament to his hard work!”
PA: What first attracted you to Precision Athletics?
AC: I was looking for a trainer that wasn’t just your typical chain gym trainer. I wanted someone who could support my fitness goals with a program designed around my strengths and weaknesses, which included prior shoulder and knee injuries. Pepe is immensely qualified and his knowledge and attention to detail really put me at ease.
What were your initial fitness goals?
Starting out, I wanted to lower my body fat and put on some size. I began at 160lbs, 17% body fat. I’m now a shade over 170lbs and 8% body fat. So there’s been a huge increase in lean muscle mass.
Why do you work out with a personal trainer?
Pepe is great at giving me a program that suits my abilities perfectly, and making adjustments as necessary. I work out on my own as well, but knowing I can push myself under the supervision of such an experienced trainer makes it OK for me to ‘go hard’ on my gym days with Pepe. I may have been wary of doing that without supervision, given my injury history.
What are your current fitness goals?
My next goal is to clear 180lbs by the spring, while staying around 8% body fat or less. I’ll never be the biggest guy, but I enjoy the feeling of being more ‘solid’ while retaining a somewhat jacked physique.
What is it about Precision Athletics that keeps you coming back?
The personalities of the trainers. Pepe is a fantastic person who is very dedicated to his job, as is everyone at Precision. I’ve also trained with Craig and Kaitlyn, in addition to getting nutritional/supplement counseling from Jade. I feel like no matter what question I have, someone at Precision can answer it. I love the feeling of getting stronger in my body and owe a huge part of that to the team at Precision.
Congrats Adrian – we can’t wait to support you in reaching your goals for 2017!
